HLS stream not viewable

Octopod has been running great for my first week into the 3d printing world, however, I moved from a raspberry pi serial camera to an HLS remote webcam and it no longer is viewable. I can see and view it fine on OctoPrint and Octoeverywhere, but not Octopod? Looking at past GitHub issues makes me pretty sure that HLS should be supported; am I missing anything? There are no errors on the stream, just grey.
Time left stopped working on my most recent print, the camera swap was earlier, don't think they are related but maybe?
Time remaining was properly populated on the next print. So just a fluke. Camera remains greyed out.
