Firmware Version Updates?

Many of the controllers listed have received updates - for instance the SN30 Pro+ has received a v4.01 update, SN30 Pro is on v1.34. Any timeline on providing these files, or instructions on how to update this repo when new files become available?

8bitdo stopped uploading firmware updates. I think you need to email them and ask them to start uploading again. Sorry that's not more useful :(

Apologies, I didn't see that there were a couple of pull requests seeking to add these updates. It looks like those updated firmware versions are included there too. SN30_Pro+_Firmware_V4.01.zip SN30pro+SF30pro_Firmware_V1.34.zip

I emailed 8bitdo, asking if they would publish any new firmware versions and received this reponse:

There is no need to wait for 8bitdo to do that, we can do it on our own. There are several pull requests with firmware updates, why are they not merged?

Because we don't have legal authority to distribute firmware updates without explicit permission.

Then don't ask them to publish their firmware through fwupd, just ask them the permission for us to redistribute their firmware blobs. No work for them.
