React cant compile anymore

If I include this library and try to use it , React re-compiles itself as is normal...then it just says webpack has compiled with a blinking cursor. The react development server never starts back up. I have to interrupt this with CTRL-C each time. Then I run npm start to get the development environment back up. Then, the webpage just says 'map loading' but it never loads.
