SSG stands for "Simple Sound Generator", and it's pretty simple (like AY-3-8910 simple).

• [ ] Tone frequency
• [ ] Noise period
• [ ] Channel volume

Hardware envelopes may or may not be supported; usually, manipulating the volumes in software is preferred.
