Unable to delete files in macOS Mojave

Open fsworld009 opened this issue 5 years ago • 3 comments

Delete a file in fman, the file is removed in fman window, but it's actually still there in the file system, and you will see it after refreshing the folder (cmd+R).

I have tried adding Full Disk Access manually following this guide https://fman.io/docs/macos, but the issue is still there, so I assume this only works for newer macOS versions.

macOS Version: Mojave (10.14.6)

Maybe @raguay's FlexibleTrash plugin will help you?

Hi, sorry for late reply, I tried the plugin but the issue is still there, thanks.

I have the same issue on macOS Catalina 10.15.7 (19H1519) with full disk access for fman. "Flexible trash" plugin does not help either. What works, is to use "Permanent Delete" (Shift+Delete) instead of "Delete". Would be nice if both could work.
