Hey!
I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for your work with the MidiMech layout. I just added an update to my opensource pad controller app for tablets, and it can now create a MidiMech layout as well with its new custom modes :)
here you go: https://github.com/anzbert/beat_pads
Keep up the good work! And if you consider this spam, feel free to delete this post 🤷♂️
Thanks! Great to see more adoption of the layout and thanks for the mention of it in the readme! I will check out your app very soon. I've added a discussion label too.
I can send you a free code for android or iOS , if you can’t be bothered compiling it yourself. i am not trying to make huge amounts of money with it. Just trying to cover this stupid 100USD apple dev fee per year.

Thanks, I use iOS. You can reach me at [email protected] if you want to send a code. I have no problem with anyone making money off of the layout or anything like that so don't worry. I just want it to be widely available and open source is always good. I've recently considered rewriting midimech using JUCE to get it onto mobile too but it might be a while for that to happen. I'm also planning some youtube videos explaining the layout soon too. Hopefully it'll get some more traction after that.
Cool cool!!
l sent you a link and code :)
Hope you find it useful
