Wrong information about Contra Anniversary Collection
This wiki site contains false information about this collection having NES version of Probotector and also omnits informations about the Game Boy games. The correct list of games that can be extracted is as follows:
- Contra (Japan) (Game Boy)
- Operation C (USA) (Game Boy)
- Probotector (Europe) (Game Boy)
- Contra: Hard Corps (USA) (Genesis/Mega Drive)
- Contra: The Hard Corps (Japan) (Genesis/Mega Drive)
- Probotector (Europe) (Genesis/Mega Drive)
- Contra (Japan) (NES)
- Contra (USA) (NES)
- Probotector II - Return of the Evil Forces (Europe) (NES)
- Super C (USA) (NES)
- Super Contra (Japan) (NES)
- Contra III - The Alien Wars (USA) (SNES)
- Contra Spirits (Japan) (SNES)
- Super Probotector - Alien Rebels (Europe) (SNES)
Also, original arcade version of Contra should be playable on an older version of MAME, while Super Contra might be able to run with a proper patch for the game's ROM.
Done.
I didn't update any info on the arcade games because there isn't any clear documentation on how to make those playable.
You could take the ROM dumped from the original arcade cabinet that would correspond to the extracted ROM's structure (older MAME releases had different ROM dump structures) and make an xdelta patch out of it.
