Whether actix had unsafe, unsound, buggy code, whatever code. The project as a whole was still really amazing. Let's not forget that.

Wish it would be restarted and sacrifice the voice of ungrateful people by deleting their messages with personal attacks.

I made toy apps with it to learn Webdev with Rust and thought it was great.

Unfortunately people with strong opinions that are deficient in empathy really hurt authors and maintainers.

This project is pretty great! It is the one web "framework" in stable Rust that felt fun to use. Zola was using it after we discussed which framework to pick for the live server.

It is sad that someone starts a project with high hopes only to see ungrateful people ruin everything when it starts to really take off.

I've always loved what you did with Actix-web, and feel the strain of open source as well. Just want you to know that the majority of the community was behind you. I'm sorry that a few trolls caused so much damage. It feels like they won today.

Please bring Actix-web back. I and others spent months writing code in your framework and people like me are being punished for the behaviour of a few idiotic trolls.

Please reconsider, many love and value your hard work.

What is it we as a community need to do for you to bring it back?

I would also be interested in learning about its internal structure, and helping to maintain it.

@fafhrd91 your work will be great again! and many thx for you. The C language is not safety, but is a baseline language of many OS.The core is solving problem,not the "pure psychology"!
