There is no preview/detection for input axis on the AxisMerger plugin for inputs or outputs. the output axis when mapped to Vjoy device does not respond. Tried multiple joysticks for input and added a second Vjoy virtual output for testing with no difference.

The goal is to have one input axis mapped to 0-50% and the second axis mapped to 50-100% merged to a single virtual axis. Is there a workaround or alternate method to achieve this?

I have comitted a new version of the plugin that fixes them - you can grab a copy from here
The plugin itself, however, is functional and the use-case you describe is possible with this plugin as it stands.
Are you able to use other plugins to output to vJoy?

This plugin did output a merged axis correctly after some reconfiguration of vjoy. The other plugins I tried work as well so it appears it was only the preview was non-functioning. Thanks for the fix.
