Camera App does not recognize Logictech Brio

I've just recently installed Elementary on my Desktop and the Camera app does not recognize my Logictech Brio camera.

With latest os7 updates my BRIO cam is detected though it shows 4 entries in the camera dropdown alternate infrared and regular apparently. Probably https://github.com/elementary/camera/pull/237 was an improvement but would be nice to have a single entry in the camera selector dropdown.

I have the same issue with my Razer Kiyo on an up to date OS 7. The camera works from other apps (e.g. Skype), but I can not select it in Camera.
