Please attach the log file of the user you were trying to download (if applicable) and the pyinstalive.default.log log file.
If your issue is related to assembling segment files please also include the JSON file and a zipped segment files directory.

You're not using the latest version: https://github.com/dvingerh/PyInstaLive/releases/tag/4.0.2 Logging in can be a hassle when you hit a security checkpoint but after logging in on my browser, removing the temporary lock on my account by setting a new password I was able to download a livestream without issue.

The account used to authenticate was suspended shortly after, I would highly advise using a throwaway account.

I wonder if it would it safer to join the IG Live once with the purpose of capturing the playback URL and doing one of the following:

• If we know the playlist doesn't expire until after 24 hours, download it after 6-12 hours
• Ping to see if the person is still live with the same IG Live id, if broadcast_status is not active then download it

I believe the problem lies in the authentication process @Infinitay I've gotten an alt or two banned just trying to login and not actually downloading a stream

So I deleted this file usermae.dat and logged in again, and the issue didn't occur again

i think the same thing i got some alts banned just for login, the accounts didnt download any stream
