Request for visual changes and new widgets

The search app is starting to look a bit dated, a more modern design could improve UX, smoother edges, finer lines, translucent gradient types or fine white - anything more modern. The widget look is also too singular, having different options like a curved one, pill type or even gray scale, text only etc. Similar to the setup in Nova Launcher's widget section for Google search would be nice to have.
