Preflight Checklist

- [x] I have searched the issue tracker for an issue that matches the one I want to file, without success.
Component The Dot browser uninstaller on Windows
Describe the bug Uninstaller sends unwanted telemetry to Mozi11a during the uninstall (doesn't that sound great for a "privacy" browser such as Dot?)
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Install mitmproxy to see the requests that the uninstaller makes and follow the instructions here on how to set up mitmproxy.
- Have mitmproxy open in a web browser other than Dot
- Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features
- Right click on Dot and click "Uninstall"
- Go through the uninstall process
- After the uninstall is done you should see a request to
https://incoming.telemetry.mozilla.orgin the flows
Expected behavior
The uninstaller (or the web browser itself) should not make telemetry requests such as https://incoming.telemetry.mozilla.org or any unwanted requests at all. Just uninstall

Hi, Thank you for raising this as an issue. We are still working on removing on the browsers privacy protections, including removing all of mozilla's tracking. We are currently working on some major under the hood changes to the ff ui with the goal of increasing maintainability.
For any developers who choose to tackle this, there are a number of telemetry that haven't been disabled in browser/app/profile/firefox.js.
