When there are 0 comments themes will often link to the comments section with a #respond anchor. Currently the no replies HTML template uses comments as the id. To accommodate themes out of the box:

  • Should this be respond? or
  • Should an additional id attribute added somewhere?

I am not sure of the frequency of this pattern throughout wordpress themes, however, this article also notes it. https://wp-mix.com/wordpress-comment-anchor-links/
