Option for showing top bar when fullscreen.

I use sway/i3 and on all gtk apps, the top bar is hidden when fullscreen. Do you think you could make a option to make it always visable?

I'm not actually sure why that happens. It would be great if you could link me some resources on that, as I don't use tiling window managers.
