Light theme in editor

Would it be possible to add light theme to editor 2? Dark theme is not very comfortable.

I also find the current theme is straining my eyes. The problem for me is that the background is too bright (and/or the text to dark.) I experience this in the code editor, console and the asset browser. Slightly higher contrast would go a long way for me -- Quickwin :) A contrast setting would be another option.

Hey, just found myself trying to compensate the lack of contrast by tuning my monitor settings, but then all other programs look weird instead. Could we have just a bit darker background as default?

Same. I prefer light themes. I find it harder to read light code on dark background.

I have a lot of difficulty reading light text on a dark background. The ability to edit the theme would be great.

It is currently possible to do this with the custom editor css, but some viewports still cannot be styled yet.

So, the first thing I tried to do was change the editor theme. It seems this is not possible without editing some files. I mean, why isn't there a UI for changing theme colors. Even text editors from 30 years ago already have options do to those.

Anyway, I might have to try Godot again, at least it has options for dark and light themes.
