@Stogas, can you share what scenarios would cause the counter to become inaccurate? We are unable to reproduce it. After running load tests against it, `livekit_participant_total` remains correct.

sorry for the delays. it would be helpful if you can give us steps on reproducing with `livekit-cli`. as long as we have a repro, it should be straight forward...

@holzgeist thanks for the excellent bug report. we'll investigate to see if there's some sort of incompatibility between the ICE/TCP implementation and Safari.

This is a good point.. I think we should have an `IdleTimeout` in addition to `EmptyTimeout`. would that work for your use case?`
