New Collaborators to speed up consolidation & releasing of new features
It is clear that I cannot commit enough time to this project. Is there anyone who want to be a Collaborator on this project and provide more active support to its development?
I was actually thinking to both of you :) I really appreciated your support for this project. Now you are both collaborators. I think the first task that needs your attention would be to produce a new version with all the features you managed to add. What do you think?
Next steps I'd recommend
a) merge in our stuff, into an actual pip installable new release
b) Create unit tests for all existing functionality before adding anything new
I agree on both points!
a) is very important, because you added a lot of new features that are still not available in the pip distro
b) is of strategic importance, because it can allow for future developments to be easier with an immediate feedback from unit tests - unfortunately I never had time and focus to work on that
