coredns.io points to old release

On the start page of coredns.io it's said that version 1.8.7 from Dec 2021 is available for download however the latest version is 1.9.2.

Changes in this repo have not been pushed to the coredns.io site since the 1.8.7 release. IIUC this is a manual process (I think there was some effort to automate it but that did not work out), and not all maintainers have access to do it.
