If you click the dedicated mouse button to navigate forward (using a mouse with extra buttons for navigating back/forward), Codemerx navigates back. If you click the button to navigate back, nothing happens.

I’m testing on macOS with Apple silicon. Using the same mouse buttons in Google Chrome navigate back and forward as expected.

That's interesting. I'm running it on an AS Mac and the mouse button support never worked for me even though it is configured. It works fine on other OSs. I just never found the time to pursue this issue. I suspect it is a problem with the underlying framework, Avalonia. I may need to report it as an issue there. But first I'll get a few more mice to test it with.

Can you confirm the navigation works fine in built-in apps like Finder?

The mouse navigation buttons do not work in Finder by default, but they do work properly if SensibleSideButtons is running. This differs from Chrome where they work even without SensibleSideButtons.
