GIFs are needed in the client.

What do you mean?

Possibility of adding GIFs from TweetDuck, for example, using the emoticons drop-down.

Planned for later, not a priority right now because it'd need a third party service to provide the GIFs and I don't want to deal with that right now.

How bout now? :) I almost created a new ticket. Being able to search and add GIFs to tweets is such a nice thing. Something like what the Better Tweetdeck browser addon does would be fantastic. With infinite scrolling as the mobile client does please! Giphy is an excellent third party source to use. ✌️

I have much less time nowadays, so TweetDuck is in maintenance mode. It should be possible to integrate Giphy as a TweetDuck plugin anyone can create, or convert that part of BetterTweetDeck into a TD plugin, but I have no plans to do that myself for the foreseeable future.

I have decided to not add this option to the app, sorry. If someone really wants it, they can create a TweetDuck plugin for it. It's also possible that in the future, third-party browser extensions with this feature (for ex. BetterTweetDeck) could be installed into TweetDuck.
