The check for haveibeensold.app seems to display either result as "leaked" or "hasn't appeared in any breach", and thereby doesn't function as intended as either possible result will show.

That works as intended. Based on haveibeensold.app, an email can be either leaked, or not to appear in any data-breach. Could you describe the issue further?

For the same unique email address, it will occasionally display both positive and negative results.
