#650 was a PR on lazy-zip-bubble-update. It doesn't make sense to keep that one in a pending review state. I thought you may want to merge that into that one and work and prepare it for final merging. Indeed some work need to be done on wiring the bit-rate, sample-rate and maybe duration in case the metadata is pre-cached.

So please re-open this one (which is just a formality, but I cannot do it). Please merge changes into lazy-zip-bubble-update when you feel like taking the lead.
