show ScriptServer version in UI context or config.json

Open ojtimsen opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Hi, 1st of all again.. big thanks for this project!

Is there a way to get the current version of the used ScriptServer shown more or less permanently in the UI? Like the title, but more like a footnote, maybe below the shown username if user auth is active. Lets say I want to echo the current version in each script as a short summary report, how could I achieve that, or is there no version file / tag yet to fully rely on? Just thinking about having a "Update ScriptServer" runner and in order to get this rolling I need to check what is currently installed.

Thank you for your thoughts and hints! ojt

Hi @ojtimsen, there should be a "version.txt" file on a top folder level. Unfortunately, it's not possible to always show it on UI permanently.

Doesn't it show when you mouse over the "banner image"?
