Hi,

The plugin is re-running the intensive initial embedding every time I open obsidian. How do I stop this and make sure that it reuses the initial embedding?

Occasionally I make some changes to the code that cause this. And other times a bug can cause it.

Yesterday I made an update that both fixes some of those bugs, and may have also caused re-embedding because of the update.

So let me know if this continues to happen. It may be something I need to look into further if it continues happening after the latest update.

I just reinstalled it, so it's happening with the new update.

@stark1tty can you take a screenshot of the developer console during or after the embedding process. This way I can see if there are any errors.

I have the same problem (version 2.0.128). My vault is saved to iCloud and I was wondering if it was something to do with the timestamp on files cause by the way iCloud deals with things, so came here to see if other people were having the same issue. I don't have much more to add to the thread though - sorry.

It definitely has to do with syncing... I would suggest trying the new beta feature to embed every note separately. Something else I've started doing is (when Im happy with my current embedding state) I rar the folder and if it breaks at any port just extract and overwrite.
