TotalTerminal won't respond

Open tybenz opened this issue 12 years ago • 4 comments

I recently upgraded to Mountain Lion 10.8.2

My previous keyboard shortcut (⌘K) no longer works to open the visor. If I click on the terminal icon, I can see Terminal in the Menu bar but none of the options work. I can't open a new window, new tab or preferences or anything. If I force quit Terminal and launch just Terminal (not TotalTerminal) I can at least get a terminal window to show up.

Any idea what's causing this?

Please check out if you don't have any other custom scripting additions in: /Library/ScriptingAdditions and ~/Library/ScriptingAdditions

They may interfere with TotalTerminal.osax. Also try to change your keyboard shortcut.

I can't change the keyboard shortcut because I can't open the preference pane at all when TotalTerminal is running.

This is my /Library/ScriptingAdditions folder:

Adobe Unit Types.osax SIMBL.osax TotalFinder.osax TotalSpaces.osax TotalTerminal.osax

Sweet, I'm glad to see you like our Total* products :)

Move out Adobe Unit Types, some people reported conflicts with adobe osax. Just for test.

Also you may backup & remove Terminal.app's plist in ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.terminal.plist, restart Terminal.app and this will reset all TotalTerminal settings to defaults.

Tried that. It's not helping... oh well. Maybe I'll spend the weekend reverting back to Snow Leopard. Not sure Lion or Mountain Lion is really worth it.
