There are already dozen helpers with similar names. Should we find another name for the project to avoid confusion?

As a new user to this, but not to various ruby git pair variations, I'd say yes.

If you wanted a humorous suggestion, based on this BitBucket video, hammock-pair would be a good name. There are other libraries named hammock, though.

More straight forward, easy-pair is decent, and easy-git-pair is more obvious. git-pair-commit is okay, but doesn't really roll off the tongue.

You definitely want to convey that it's easy - simple up-front config, no complex commands.
