Tried installing using textmate "GetBundles" bundle - got error

Open ccjensen opened this issue 14 years ago • 9 comments

Hi,

Not sure if anyone uses the GetBundles, so all this might be its fault, but got this error when trying to install copy-with-style: Could not install “Copy with Style” by using “https://github.com/bblimke/copy-with-style-tmbundle/tarball/master”

Could always just install it manually :)

Thanks for reporting that. Not sure why it's happening but I may have a look if I find a minute. Unless someone else will investigate that.

Anyone figure this out? It's doing it to me too.

Works for me. What version of textmate do you use?

Actually, I was able to get around this. It was a permissions issue I believe.

What kind of permission issue? I'm having this problem, as well.

I just had reinstall it on another machine, and it worked fine. So, what it could be is how I installed GetBundles. Because I didn't have to install it on tho computer. But on the previous computer I did.

I did some digging on this and figured out that the GetBundles on github is out of date. If you install GetBundles from svn it's 2 versions ahead and the problem went away for me then. Which source did you use for GetBundles @hoangelos?

well, the problem was reported so long ago that I've forgot. It could have been the same issue. My GeteBundles Doesn't appear to be from either svn or git. At least if I did, I exported and not cloned.
