A fresh clone of the repository has build failing.

Steps done :

  • i forked https://github.com/ayastreb/jekyll-maps
  • in https://github.com/Kraymer/jekyll-maps/settings/pages I selected gh-pages-src as the branch to deploy from
  • made a dummy commit in gh-pages-src branch to trigger the build

Same. I'm guessing it's a problem with a Jekyll update, but no idea

Update, fixed by going to github's 'experimental' Github Pages deployment Action
