Destroys google maps performance

maps.google.com becomes unusably slow when this plugin is enabled, particularly when trying to change zoom levels or pan in satellite view. I imagine it is also the case for any site that makes a larger burst of requests in a short period.

Thanks for the report. I can't seem to reproduce the issue on Linux x64 Google Chrome 53.0.2785.30 (Official Build) dev (64-bit) Revision c9ac2ade38adec236e53faa2e6cdc4aff55a53ef-refs/branch-heads/2785@{#352}. Can you please provide the same information from chrome://version?

Can't reproduce either. Went onto google maps and dragged around for three seconds, reached around 1500 requests yet no visible performance drop or increase in CPU.

Windows, Chrome 53.0.2785.89
