Should we have a Skip Track button?

I'd argue yes. It's good UX to have an undo ability for people - e.g. if they add the wrong track, a long track (i.e. a mix) that they decide not to listen to, etc.

What would be the rule? If anyone skips, the song is skipped or if at least 50% of the listeners...?

I’d say let anyone do it, and we use the avatar color with a SKIPPED tag next to the song to indicate which avatar did it.

I like giving a flat level of access to everyone because the design decision limits the usability to small, trusted groups of friends. If the group is too big then track selection and skipping can cause grief, reducing the app’s usability beyond a certain size :)
