@goetas it's not a bug report, just thinking out loud on what would happen if serialization/deserialization would be segregated by default.

@fdpeiter are you thinking something like adding godotenv, with loading a file and fallback on environment?

@edmorley what about other versions? (eg precise) either this or mysql repo would need availability
