How can I help this project?

Hi, I was wondering what would be needed to finish the font. I’m learning font designing and I do like this font so I’d like to help porting eulervm to otf.

You can start by using the font and noting any deficiencies, you can then ask how they should be fixed and I’ll be happy to give some pointers.

I can give some: – missing characters (let’s start with the whole Black Board family —although there seems to be a branch for that—, I’ll give some more when that will be done); – spacing (kerning?) problems with subscripts: image

I miss mathbb too, maybe I can start with that?

There is a mathbb branch that tried to make a black board alphabet based on Euler romans, I didn’t like it much but your mileage may vary. If you like it, you can fork this repo, rebase mathbb on top of master then merge it into master. This might be as straight forward as a bunch of git commands or it might get ugly with merge conflicts. In case of the later, you may just copy the black board alphabet manually. Let me know if you need help building the font.

There is now a mathbb-rebased branch that does the rebasing part.

Thanks!

I think the font in itself is nice but believe that mathbb is characterized by the double-bar. I can try to design glyphs N,Z,Q,R,C,H at first.
