FW Rebug 4.84 Cobra CEX CECHB00

When I press L3+R3 to activate FPS counter plugin the system instantly freezes and I have to hard restart to reboot the system.

Try using a different version. webMAN MOD basically loads the plugin. https://github.com/TheRouletteBoi/RouLetteVshMenu/releases

There is new version 2.5. Also you can try the version from Apr 04, 2022 that has less features.

Unfortunately didnt help. It worked fine before until it just started freezing. I'm not sure if it's interfering with something else

Some additional tests that you could do are:

• Try loading the VshFpsCounter.sprx alone from /boot_plugins.txt
• Try uninstalling webMAN MOD, delete /boot_plugins.txt and reinstall it again.

funny thing is im having this same problem with the latest update of webman mod but mine shuts down my console and beeps a few times and the red light blinks till i press the button to turn it off (4.84.2 D-REX Cobra 8.3)

Try using the online updater and reboot. The latest build of wMM includes VshFpsCounter 2.7. If the problem persists after update try editing /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res/VshFpsCounter.yaml and change showClockSpeeds to Off

Exact same issue here on Rebug 4.84 Cobra CEX. Did you manage to fix it @illusionalDEX

Try updating to the latest build using the online updater. If it still crashes your console, report the bug to the author https://github.com/TheRouletteBoi/RouLetteVshMenu/issues

@aldostools Spent today trying to troubleshoot it tried almost everything but finally have a fix.

1. Open rebug toolbox
2. Navigate to Utilities
3. Scroll down to "Dump Eid root key" and select
4. Go back to rebug toolbox after reboot
5. Go to Dex/Cex
6. Select "Rewrite target ID in Flash"
7. Finally select Swap LV2 kernel

After all of this it should work, only thing that isn't working is fan speed but that's hardly a big problem.
