Any chance for a Joni and Neil release for VCV 0.5 ?
Hello, just to inform you many users love this 2 modules , so could be cool to have them in 0.5 ;-) ( andrew just confirm that only audible firmwares will be add in the official releases) Thanks
Glad people are using them! I plan on updating soon, hopefully I can this weekend.
I've got them working in v0.5.0 now on Windows, you can grab a Windows binary here: https://github.com/adbrant/ArableInstruments/releases/tag/v0.5.0 If anyone has a Mac dev environment set up , could they do me a favor and try building the binary?
After getting the repo they need to run: git submodule update --init --recursive then to make the binaries: make clean all dist Which will produce the Arable Instruments release, you should save that before the next step. make -f Makefile.parasite clean all dist Which will produce the Parable Instruments release.
Both versions will now be under the same 'Arable Instruments' top-level menu item in the program.
Thanks! I've added that to the release. I think this is only the Parable - 'Neil' module though, could you build the non-parasites one as well? (running 'make clean all dist' should build ArableInstruments-v0.5.0-mac.zip)
just curious... building those yourself isn't that hard, why don't you try it yourself? the explanations on how to set it all up are pretty straight forward and this way you can always checkout and build the latest rack and modules whenever you want.
if you're asking it to me, well... i build the most of plugins by myself, when i tried to build the arable instruments it was returned an error, i also tried the "git submodule update" instruction but nothing it's happened. I'm familiar to the C but not with C++ so i can't solve most of the errors that will come up.
