If im not wrong, windows shouldn't be a problem. could you try creating environment from files mentioned in this repo? README file, in the end.?

you can use the EarlyStopping callback and save on each epoch where there is an improvement. here is an example: https://github.com/abhishekkrthakur/tez/blob/main/examples/image/digit_recognizer.py#L175

How do you install tez? Could you please provide an example to reproduce the error?
