Rename to 947722 packages left behind
Seeing as the package is limited to 1000 packages 😉
Yes! If you set up automation to automatically rename the project every day then I'm all for!
How about a few proxy packages to circumvent the package limit and leave no one behind?
That's a very smart approach @wgroenewold! Would be fun to implement one day!
Talk about dependency hell lmao
and this is alive again :D so @androidacybot, wonder if the same thing brought us here haha
~~Definitely not reddit~~
we can also use npm-remote-ls to find out the dependency list of a package and remove those from the list. we should be able to get a list of all packages that no other package depends on. we can then group them into a 1000-group. but, how did you find out all the packages available on npmjs.com? I tried npm search /^a.*/ but it didn't give me all the packages started with a.
An interesting side-effect of actually depending on all packages is that every package on npm immediately gets a superficial reputation boost.
I'm disappointed there are no dependents... 😢
