About the "shared multimedia" and "multimedia" folders
Describe the bug
In some server, I have no use for the "Shared multimedia" folder, which is confusing to some users (they put some private pictures in it without understanding that everyone who has an account on the server will see them). Looking into how to deactivate that folder, I imagined that the "External storage" is probably what mounts those folders. But opening that setting, I get the following screenshot:

I guess there is (or was) a bug in the nextcloud package that recreated multiple time the external storages. I imagine that if I remove all duplicates nothing should happen, and it will look cleaner. Does that make sense?
If I remove all "Shared multimedia" external storage, I imagine that it will stop showing the "Shared multimedia" folder. Is this the appropriate way to achieve what I was mentioning in the first paragraph?
Context
- YunoHost version: 4.2.8.3
- I have access to my server: SSH, webadmin
- Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance?: no
- Using package version/branch: 22.1.1~ynh1
I am experiencing this same issue, and when I remove them (I only want to have one mounted external storage), they get re-added, a few days later.
ynh version 11.2.29 nextcloud version 29.0.4 / 29.0.4~ynh2
Any ideas here @eauchat ?
Thanks!
@colmoneill Nope I'm not having this issue. In the end I think I removed all the shares after posting this issue, and just checking now, they don't seem to have been re-added automatically.
I have the same issue. I believe every upgrade adds the two duplicate lines. It's not the only issue it has because it messed up my preview generator plugin as well. And there are other issues related: https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/nextcloud_ynh/issues/345
Perhaps this should be deprecated or at least turned into an option.
A workaround is to disable the external storage app if you don't need it.
