Speakers Audio Issue

Lately I have noticed that a good amount of my speakers are not playing anything, I would be walking around a room filled with speakers only to find dead spots where little or no sound can be heard (this includes directly next to a speaker). My network of audio cables is quite large so I am slightly unsure if this is intentional, a game limitation, or truly a bug. Any response would be acceptable, I am just curious if there is a way to fix this issue, or to improve consistency of the sound and volume.

Edit. Also, sometimes the speakers become desynced from each other, where some are delayed slightly behind the others.
