Enhancement: VCert Python pipeline

The use of super() in a unittest.TestCase-style class's init method usually means that the class is intended to inherit from unittest.TestCase. In our case, however, Pytest does not require such a setup because it uses plain Python classes or functions for tests, thus the usage for the function setUp for initial configuration.
