Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Sound isn't working with Flatpak applications in SteamOS. This is both the case in the SteamOS session and the desktop mode. The volume of the TV doesn't matter. I'm using HDMI for sound on my Alienware Steam Machine.

I did apply a patch to the steamos-compositor package, which makes flatpak apps able to display in the SteamOS session, but since I also see this bug in the desktop mode I don't think that is relevant here.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Add the Flathub repository with flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub --user https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
2. Install an application with Flatpak, like kodi wtih flatpak install --user tv.kodi.Kodi
3. Start the application
4. The application won't output sound
