My system looks really similar to yours (6900 XT) and Bonelab works with no issues.

I am using SteamVR 1.24.4 (Beta) on X11 though.

That could be it, I will try SteamVR beta later today

Changing to SteamVR beta did not fix it, also SteamVR does not get launched automatically by launching bonelab

Not sure if anything changed on the Proton side, but I just tried it (with Monado) and it just worked. Using latest experimental.

@Supreeeme are you on an AMD or nVidia GPU? Looks like it works for AMD GPU users, but not for nVidia users currently.

Unrelated, but are there any current benefits to using Monado with SteamVR besides the open source nature, curious as to if its able to fix a few proton issues.

AMD.

Monado won't affect Proton at all. I use Monado because SteamVR causes a GPU reset for me on most games. I wouldn't recommend Monado for the average end user, the experience isn't as polished as SteamVR right now (even as buggy as it is on Linux). But it does function at a basic level (and doesn't reset my GPU, and works on Wayland), in combination with OpenComposite

So it looks like as of af least today on bleeding edge and steamvr beta the game works on Nvidia! Mostly! The openxr loader is no longer an issue, and I was able to play the tutorial level. However getting in seems random, it will typically crash before the in game menu and take down my wifi drivers with it for some reason.

@kisak-valve Here's a log taken from the game crashing trying to load "the bonelab" after the tutorial. Happens 100% of the time. steam-1592190.zip

And here's one from the games boot crashes steam-1592190.zip Might have something to do with the way the game talks to the internet? When it crashes, all my network connections vanish until I restart with no other damage done, it also seems to boot fine when in airplane mode (The second level however will always still crash)
