We can do one better. C++++, or simply put, E. This is extremely fitting as E is a common meme, and perfectly embodies everything that ~~DreamBird~~ C should be.

well, when you are using one language, does the fact that that programming languages exist really matter? i think we should avoid global scope and just refer to it as "the (programming) language". it should be clear from context, and if it's not clear, it's probably someone else's problem.

How about CScript? You can cash in on the hype around that other language and as a bonus make it sound similar enough to confuse recruiters for the next 30 years or so.

I think it should be called BEST (Berd Emphemeral Somnogenic Tropism), stylised 'best'.

Advantages People can refer to 'the best programming language' without ambiguity. best is the best programming language. This would save countless hours of pointless, fruitless debate. Easy to market.

Disadvantages The time freed might be used by developers to develop software of some kind, which averages out to be actually pretty catastrophically bad for humanity.

During renaming we should consider which names have symbols for them in the Unicode Math block so we can avoid having to design a complicated logo

From the feature of the syntax, I vote for 'C!!', or 'C❗❗' to show support for Unicode.

Suggestion: wouldn't it be like, fair use or something if you kept it called C, but considered it a satire of the other language? I think this could be implemented pretty easily by having "Dennis Ritchie is dumb" log to the console any time the compiler/interpretter starts up.
