Video capture only works after settings change

When I restart my TV, the video capture only starts working after I open PicCap, change a setting (e.g. the resolution) and save it. If I don't do that only UI gets captures (the WebOS menu or YouTube menu for example). Enabling/disabling QuickStart+ does not make any difference. TV Model: 55SM8500 Software Version: 5.30.25

Having the exact same issue. It's, most of the time, fixed after restarting the service altogether in Piccap. When disabling Quickstart+ I receive a toast notification that the system entered failsafe mode. Before the HBC update, disabling Quickstart+ worked and Piccap did what it had to do... Any help would be greatly appreciated!
