If this isn't possible, perhaps you can advise on the best approach for getting the transactionHash on a pending transaction after confirming it with Synpress?

It's a feature request and you can do it with ethers.

Is there a expected timeline for this feature to launch or is there another way of extending synpress with this functionality by adding this as a custom task using the selectors already defined in the library eg here https://github.com/Synthetixio/synpress/blob/16d209b7b82d6d914392d4f38ce26fc9820afc0d/pages/metamask/main-page.js#L46
