Bug Description

When using the download button to download an external message from the Message Directory a PDF file is downloaded but it has 0KB file size and when trying to open it in Acrobat Viewer the following message appears.

Reproduction Steps

1. Go to Message Directory
2. Download any of the messages
3. Try to open the file in Acrobat Reader ...

Expected Behavior

The downloaded file should include information an be viewable in the browser or any standard PDF viewer
