Problem Description

1. Create a case for diseases which don't have follow up(eg: AFP).

2. Go to Epidemiological data tab and select YES for Contact with source case known from Contacts with Source Case section .

3. Contact with Source card will be enabled on top right.

4. Create a new contact.

5. Open the created contact.

6. Check the follow up status below the Pre-existing condition detail.

7. Click on Resume follow up button.

8. Now Check box for Overwrite follow-up until date will be enabled.

9. Select the check box(Overwrite follow-up until date) and provide follow-up until date

10. Save the details and check the follow up details.

Here 9th step has no value, because for the selected disease don't have follow-up.

Proposed Change

For follow-up not enabled diseases, follow-up fields should not be visible. Otherwise it will confuse the user.

Added Value/Benefit

System will be robust.

• [ ] Enable the follow-up fields in Contacts menu if the disease is eligible for follow-up
• [ ] Disable the follow-up fields in Contacts menu if the disease is disabled for follow-up
• [ ]
