Display turns of all 30sec

Hey I really like your little Script, but it turns off and on the Display in short intervals of about 30 seconds or less while the Device it´s looking for is in the WIFI-Network all the time. Is this a normal behavior?

I've been having a somewhat similar issue. I made the script print out its Nmap results and it appears that it is unable to ping my iPhone 6 when it is locked. It works fine when the phone is unlocked. Not sure how to fix it, sorry.

I will look into it. It worked without any problems on my android phone though. What devices are you guys pinging to?

The same problem, ping working when phone a samsung s9 is locked but display turn off and on every few seconds
