Are there any plans to implement OAuth or similar "more secure" (at least according to google) ways of signing in?

@RainLoop XOAuth2 support is done in PHPMailer and quite finished in K-9 Mail. Will you implement it?

~~Temporary solution:~~

  1. Set up Google Social login on admin
  2. Enable https://myaccount.google.com/lesssecureapps for your Gmail account
  3. Log in to Rainloop with your gmail address and password
  4. Connect to Google in Settings / Social
  5. Disable https://myaccount.google.com/lesssecureapps for your Gmail account

Oh no! After step five: Authentication failed

Look @RainLoop, there is a LoginWithXOauth2() method.

How to make it work and not use AUTH PLAIN?

Is this project still maintained? Please consider adding support. 5 years ago, you said OAuth2 is not your priority, but maybe now?

Hello Microsoft will close the traditional login (with password) on 12/31/22, from that date Rainloop will no longer work for Microsoft users, if you don't have Oauth2, any plans to implement this?
