Open rafx85 opened this issue 2 years ago • 18 comments

When I try to connect Trezor T with Rabby I always got screen to install Trezor Bridge despite it is already installed. On Rainbow and Metamask connection working good, only Rabby has problems with that.

Can you make a screenshot?

Look like this. I also checked BlockWallet and working fine with Trezor, only Rabby got problems for me.

Looks like you are using self-built Rabby? The Chrome extension id is wrong, did you change any code?

No, it's just someone's image for metamask, but I have the same screen for Rabby.

@heisenberg-2077 any idea?

vvvvvv1vvvvvv avatar Nov 08 '23 02:11 vvvvvv1vvvvvv

I confirm the issue. Rabby do not prompt to connect Trezor via webhid (like it probably should), trezor-connect falls back to connection via the bridge, but the bridge rejects connection.

tbh Trezor connection page is provided by Trezor team so I can't make sure what's wrong with it, but did restart browser/computed works for you?

also, it works fine in my side

Does not work for me, other wallets work fine with Trezor, just Rabby got that issue, did you check on Trezor T or the Trezor One, maybe it's difference here? I checked on Chrome and Brave and both the same issue.

Some more screens from my computer now, not internet: image image

Please see if you can open http://127.0.0.1:21325, this is the address of the bridge service. If it doesn't work, please install the bridge as required and restart your computer. @rafx85

You mean the issue is solved?

No issue still there, just the link is working. No need to restart computer or install bridge.

rafx85 avatar Nov 09 '23 16:11 rafx85

Try upgrading the trezor firmware and reinstalling the latest version of bridge.

There is no newer version of bridge or firmware, I have latest, problem must be with rabby, other wallets work good with trezor.

Any progress here with adding trezor t support?

Hello @vvvvvv1vvvvvv !

I have just switched from Metamask to Rabby today.

When I try to add my Trezor T to Rabby using Chrome that supports WebUSB and get this screen:

T

I have no issues with Metamask:

M

Does Rabby supports WebUSB? Any plans to implement it?

Theres also a big issue using wallets that have different trezor passphrases with rabby - you have to restart rabby every time when switching wallets.
